Dr. Craig Hazel, D.C.
Dr. Craig Hazel has been studying and educating people about human performance and wellness for the past thirteen years. He began his undergraduate studies at Queen's University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Bachelor of Physical and Health Education.
During his studies at Queen's he began to suffer from excruciating headaches, frequent colds and stomach problems. After exploring conventional medicine with limited results, he tried chiropractic. "No one was more skeptical about chiropractic than I was. After several weeks of starting care, I began to experience something I had never felt in a long time - I felt nothing. No headaches, no sinus pain, no more colds, aches and pains vanished and my energy tripled. I was so amazed that I began to explore the profession further. What I found out is that chiropractic had a tremendous amount of research and indisputable scientific principles backing it. This was important to an analytical guy like me. I became fascinated with how the human body was designed and how it works. I knew then that no other profession would suit me as well as chiropractic."
He received his Doctorate of Chiropractic and a Bachelor of Science in Anatomy from Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas. For many years, his pragmatic approach to health and well-being has helped professional and elite level athletes, weekend warriors, children, and grandparents achieve an incredible level of health.
After finishing chiropractic college, Dr. Hazel became certified in pediatric and peri-natal care. These post-graduate studies were completed after witnessing first hand an autistic child's life was dramatically changed after a few chiropractic visits. His greatest passion is working with children and he continues to pursue regular training to further his skills and education.
Dr Hazel also has extensive education in strength and conditioning and is certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association During his undergraduate studies at Queen's he acted as the Men's Varsity hockey team's athletic therapist and strength and conditioning coach. This knowledge combined with personal achievements in competitive sports his entire life, makes Dr Hazel an incredible resource for athletes.
Besides building a successful practice, Dr. Craig has been building an amazing family with his wife and their two children. Outside the office, Dr Hazel enjoys strength training, fishing, golf and playing hockey.

Dr. John LaBrie
Dr. John LaBrie has a passion for empowering and inspiring the world to live a healthier, happier and more natural lifestyle. He feels that true health comes from within, and the best way to achieve this is through wellness-based chiropractic.
Since graduating from New York Chiropractic College in 2010, with both his Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) and Masters of Science in Applied Clinical Nutrition (M.S.A.C.N.), Dr. LaBrie has found that chiropractic can ultimately be broken down into 5 simple, yet profound principles:
1. The body is self-healing and self-regulating
a. Self-healing in that, as an example, when you cut-yourself, you are the one who heals you, not your Band-Aid or stitches you may receive
b. Self-regulating in that, as an example, when you exercise your heart automatically beats faster to meet the increased demands and eventually as you rest again, your heart begins to beat slower.
2. The purpose of the brain and nervous system is to control and coordinate the function of all the cells, tissues and organs in the body and to adapt the organism to it’s environment.
3. If there is interference in your nervous system (what we call subluxation) your body cannot function as was intended and is no longer self-healing or self-regulating.
4. The longer the interference (subluxation) to the nerve system the more devastating the effects are to your health and well-being.
5. Our job as chiropractors is to located, analyze and correct the subluxations (nerve interference), and their causes, allowing your body to regain its self-healing and self-regulating properties.
Dr. LaBrie loves being able to not only help his clients overcome their current health challenges, but also show them ways to quit recreating these health challenges in the future so that they can enjoy optimal health and well-being, while enhancing their quality and quantity of life. With his drive and enthusiasm, you will always know that you are the most important person in the room and he will always do everything that he can to help you heal, grow and excel.
When he is not sharing chiropractic, Dr. LaBrie enjoys doing CrossFit exercises in his garage, running or cycling along the outskirts of Kanata, reading, meditating (at least trying to), and having a great time with his friends and family.
